Dragon’s Tongue, 25 seeds - Bush. A Dutch heirloom horticultural bean (multi-purpose bean). The pods are a large, broad/flattened “romano” type but are yellow striped with vibrant purple – beautiful to behold. Tasty right in the field, or cooked – though the stripes disappear on cooking. The pods remain tender and juicy for a very long time compared to most snap beans. The bean is also tasty as shellies, or can be saved and dried. Dry seed is tan with bluish swirls. Poor for freezing – enjoy in season!

Seeds come in Stillwater Valley Seed Packets.
