Oregon Sugar Pod II Snow Pea
Bred by Dr. James R. Baggett of Oregon State University and appeared on market in 1985. Resistant to pea enation mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and fusarium wilt race 1.
Superb for freezing. Succulent pods filled with semi-wrinkled seeds on plant that are two-and-a-half feet in height.
Their sweet and crisp flavor has been enjoyed by 1000s making it one of the most popular edible peas in the world!
- Plant seeds 1 inch deep and 2 inches apart as soon as soil is ready
- Direct-sow in early spring, again in midsummer for a fall crop (2 months before first frost is due)
