Wild Pea of Umbria/Roveja, 25 seeds – This “wild” soup pea has been grown in Italy for centuries and consumed as a staple by local populations. It produces small speckled peas which are a beautiful motley mix of dark brown, purple, reddish or dark green in color. I found these very easy to grow, trouble-free, and early, though they prefer a cool growing season. They are short but vining, and do need support. Easy to clean seed, as the thin and papery dry pods shell extremely easily.

Seeds will come in Stillwater Valley packets.
