70 Days. This vining edible green will have your neighbors impressed by its beautiful red vines and dark berries and lush green leaves. It has many purposes as it can produce a beautiful natural dye and be eaten similar to that of spinach despite it not being a true spinach. (Basella rubra). It also has incredible decorative properties making it perfect for wall trellises and tunnels. It isn't frost hardy however it is very heat tolerant, in warmer sub tropic climates it can be grown as a perennial.
