HEIRLOOM TOMATILLO SEEDS

(Physalis philadelphica and Physalis ixocarpa) and its earliest fossilized examples date back over 52 million years. This adaptive husk tomato can be found all over the Americas with the exception being the very far north. It was perhaps first domesticated in Mexico where its highest concentration in population and varieties still exist today.  They're more tolerant to cooler weather than tomato and usually do not require staking. These fast growing fruits are often used in salsas and spices.
