HEIRLOOM WATERMELON SEEDS

(Citrullus lanatus) Was originally domesticated in Africa about 4,000 years ago, and has since become one of the most widely cultivated crops on Earth. Enslaved Africans introduced the watermelon in the 1500s, where it was quickly accepted amongst indigenous nations of whom later developed their own varieties. It is most often used as a sweet summer treat due to it's ability to retain a water.
