Description
The fiery classic of Southern heat. ‘Long Red Thin Cayenne’ produces slender, wrinkled peppers about 5–6 inches long with bright scarlet color and sharp, penetrating spice. The flavor is clean, hot, and ideal for drying, sauces, or fresh use where bold heat is desired.
Plants grow 24–30 inches tall and bear heavily through summer, producing continuous flushes of peppers. Excellent for stringing into decorative ristras.
An heirloom of early American and Caribbean cultivation, the cayenne remains a cornerstone of the hot pepper world—fiery, versatile, and enduringly flavorful.
