Carolina Gold Rice is an heirloom rice. It's non-gmo, non-hybrid, all-natural and gluten free. Grown and milled on our family farm in Eastern North Carolina.

HISTORY: Carolina Gold’s traces back to a ship coming from Madagascar in 1685. It was the first crop of Rice in the Americas. It flourished and soon took over the SC lowlands and stretched north into what is now known as North Carolina. This coastal area know as the “Tidewater region”, thrived for over 200 years with its fertile soil and ship ports for distribution. In the early 1900's, following the emancipation of the slaves, a series of hurricanes and the boom of mechanized commodity farming; rice farming ended in the Carolinas. That is until now...
