Origin & History:
Moringa, scientifically known as Moringa oleifera, is indigenous to the sub-Himalayan regions of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. Often referred to as the "drumstick tree" or "miracle tree," Moringa has been used for millennia in Ayurvedic medicine, given its vast array of health benefits.

The multifaceted Moringa tree is a treasure trove of nutrients. Almost every part of the tree is edible and packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. The leaves are commonly consumed in teas, smoothies, or as a leafy green in dishes, while the drumstick pods are often used in culinary dishes like curries. Beyond its dietary use, Moringa seeds are known to have water-purifying properties, and the oil extracted from seeds is utilized in cosmetics and skincare.

Growth Habit & Planting Instructions:
Moringa is a rapidly growing tree that thrives best in warm climates, suitable for tropical and subtropical regions. For optimal growth, it prefers well-draining soil and a sunny location. Plant seeds 1 inch deep in pots or directly in the ground. Although the tree is drought-tolerant once mature, regular watering in its early growth stages will encourage a healthy root system and robust growth.
